Solution Providers
The Solution Provider partner program is for partners who offer consulting and
implementation services in addition to reselling or influencing software purchases.
Business Objects provides achievement levels within the Solution Provider partner category. The partner program uses a three-tier system, providing partners with opportunities to achieve higher levels of partnership by meeting specified program requirements in a specific amount of time. Benefits vary depending on the partner achievement level. The partnership investments are aligned to programs and market opportunities:
OEMS/ISVs
The OEM partner program is for independent software vendors (ISV's) who integrate BI software technologies from Business Objects with their own product offering for commercial resale. These partners may add on, bundle, host, or embed our software.
Distributors
The distributor partner program is for partners that resell all or part of the Business Objects product suite and derive their primary revenue from license sales. These partners include organizations that are primary distributors or master resellers in particular regions or countries. The geographical presence of these partners is complementary to that of Business Objects and their work with resellers provides breadth for selling our products and services.
Global System Integrators
Business Objects Global System Integrator Partners are characterised as global leaders across technical, marketing, sales, and/or service capabilities and typically represent the standard in their industry, specialty, or vertical market. Global System Integrator partners are also generally multinational with significant presence in multiple geographic regions. Membership within our highest partner achievement level is by invitation only.
